Veronica Busick, DVM, CCRT
Veterinarian
Dr. Busick grew up in Miami, Florida where she and her brother would always take in animals that came into the backyard. Anoles, iguanas, and turtles to name a few, all found a safe spot to rest and some tasty greens before they moved on to other habitats. That interest and desire to care for the animals around her encouraged her to become a veterinarian so she could continue to do so on a larger scale.
Dr. Busick is a 2008 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Iowa after graduation to work at a 24-hour practice working both community day practice and emergency medicine for small animals and exotics. In 2009, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) and started offering rehab services to pets in the area. In 2014 she relocated to Anderson and joined us here at SAVC, where she enjoys seeing dogs, cats, and pocket pets.
Dr. Busick and her husband Justin have two daughters. She enjoys spending her time with her children, cooking, and gardening. The Busick family has an ornery cat named Charlie, a pointer named George, and many chickens.
