Country Critters Veterinary Hospital to Close February 13, 2026

After many years of caring for the pets and families of Daleville, Indiana, we have an important update to share with our valued community. After careful deliberation and extensive efforts to fill an available veterinarian position without success, we have determined that the best course of action is to close this hospital and refer all patient care to our sister location.

Effective February 13, 2026, Country Critters Veterinary Hospital will permanently close and will no longer offer veterinary appointments at this location.

Starting February 14, 2026, we encourage you to visit our nearby sister location, South Anderson Veterinary Clinic, which offers comprehensive veterinary services, including exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dental care:

Support Services Until Closure

Country Critters will remain open through February 13, 2026, providing ongoing support services, including:

• Phone support for general questions and pet care guidance

• Medical record pick-up for your convenience

• Prescription coordination to assist with transferring your pet’s medications. Please note: As of February 13, we will no longer write or refill prescriptions at this facility.

Requesting Your Pet's Medical Records

To request your pet’s records, please email us at countrycrittersvethos@yourvetdoc.com. Allow 72 business hours for electronic records and about one week for mailed copies. For basic vaccine history and due dates, response time is one business day. You can also access basic medical info anytime through the PetDesk app.
